What can I do with Live Scroll?
Add scroll, text and hover motion to a Figma web design, then experience it in a live preview. Export your work as an HTML prototype to share the motion.
Do I need to write code?
No. Select a Figma layer, add a motion preset, and adjust its speed, direction and timing.
Is Live Scroll easy to get started with?
The plugin includes a usage guide in English and Japanese, so you can learn the basics and explore each feature as you go. Start with a preset, then adjust the motion a little at a time.
Can I create scroll animations and parallax from Figma?
Yes. Import a Figma frame and add scroll-linked movement, scale and opacity changes, or use parallax to move layers at different speeds. Sticky keeps an element fixed during scrolling. Scroll through the live preview inside the plugin to check the result.
What if there is no preset for the animation I want?
Tell us what you would like to create using the Contact link in the footer. We will keep adding presets and improving features based on feedback from our users, giving you more ways to bring your designs to life.
How do I share an animated prototype?
Export your animated mockup as one HTML file and send it to others. Recipients can open it in a browser to experience scroll and hover interactions. Use it for design reviews or to communicate motion behavior to developers.
Can I share the animation settings too?
Yes. Animation settings are saved on the Figma frame and travel with the Figma file when you share it. Anyone using Live Scroll can open the same frame in the shared file to view the saved animations, even on another computer.
Will it change my original Figma design?
Adding motion does not change the original layout, text or colors. Keep editing the visual design in Figma. Motion settings are saved on the Figma frame.
Do Personal and Business include different features?
The features are identical. Personal is US$2/month for individuals and sole proprietors. Business is US$5/month for corporate work. Both licenses cover one person.
Will I be charged when the free trial ends?
No card is required to begin the trial. You will only be charged if you choose to purchase a paid plan. After purchase, billing renews monthly. You can schedule cancellation at the end of the paid period through the Stripe portal.
Can I publish the exported HTML as my website?
HTML exports are prototypes for previewing and sharing motion. Production website building and automatic responsive layouts are outside the scope of the plugin.
Does the plugin support English and Japanese?
You can switch the interface, presets and guides between English and Japanese. Figma layer names and the text in your designs are never automatically translated.
